Our
Story
Welcome, we are a little family in Central Ohio. Our names are Troy and Kristin. Troy is a middle school teacher and Kristin is a psychotherapist. We both wear many other hats such as parent, coach, farmer, and trainer, however, one of our favorite titles is "dog parents". We have two sweet Border Collies- Dixie and Bolt, as well as two Standard Poodles named Rain and Sky, all of which live in our home with us. We sure love these dogs and the puppies they give us the opportunity to care for and love.
A Bordoodle is a Border Collie mixed with a Standard or Miniature Poodle. We chose this breed because of their smart and gentle nature as well as their physical attributes. We are excited to offer intelligent, loved and high-quality Standard Bordoodles. Please see the Our Passion page for more information on why we chose to breed Bordoodles.
Our Home
Our mommies, daddy and puppies live in our home with us. Troy farms, so we are blessed to have a farmhouse with a large fenced in backyard. Not only do our parents and puppies get to play in the fence often, but behind our house sits a 100 acre field with some woods. Our dogs walk the field and woods with me almost daily. They love chasing the four-wheeler around and, boy, are they fast! Of course, the puppies are limited to their own smaller fence when they get outside time, but our parents get all the freedom to run outdoors with our supervision.
Breeder Information
Adoption Process
The process begins with reaching out to me, Kristin! Just shoot me a text or email or call with all your questions. Once you pick the perfect pup for you, you can secure this puppy by placing a non-refundable $200 deposit that goes toward the final cost of the puppy. You are welcome to come visit us and meet the little ones, or do a video call before you choose. Your pup will be securely held for you until it's time to come home. I will send pictures and videos of your puppy until they are in your arms and call them by whatever name you choose!
Breeding Rights
We require a spay/neuter contract with each pup. If you have any intentions or interest in breeding your dog, please discuss this in depth with Kristin prior to placing a deposit. Breeding rights will be sold on a case by case basis.
Delivery/ Puppy Pick-up
We offer delivery for all puppies! We do not ship puppies due to safety concerns, however, we do fly puppies with a puppy delivery nanny. Cost for delivery varies based on distance. You are always welcome to pick up your puppy and meet their parents too!
